So um.. Hi?
My names Kelly, I'm from Australia.
I love horses and I love taking photos of them.
Actually.. I love taking photos of everything, I'm a bit OCD. =P
I by no means consider myself a photographer, a photographer is a person who has training and expertise in photography. While I'd like to be a photographer one day at the moment I'm really just a girl who loves taking photos. I strive to improve my skills so any feedback is more than welcome. :)
I don't often edit my photos as I think that sometimes photos are best un-manipulated. I also think you need to be good at taking photos without editing them as well as being able to edit a photo when you need to. :) I will always state whether my photo is an original or an edited version.
Also, A lot of my photographs will be from a compact rather than my SLR as I carry it around with me, and some of my photos may even be taken from horse back so I apologise for the lower quality, though I don't believe a good camera is the only thing that makes a good photograph. I will always state the camera brand and model my photographs are taken on as well. :)
If you have any questions about my photographs or just in general, don't hesitate to contact me!
My photos will be organised into albums and my favourite photos from those albums will be in my Featured album.
The complete collections of photos I take at Equestrian events will not be on my Deviantart, just the highlights. However, you can find the complete collections on my Facebook which is linked below. :)
If the photos are over a year old however, they will not be on my Facebook. If you'd like copies of photos from an older event, feel free to contact me. :)
I also plan on having every photo available as a print in the near future. :)

I don't know if any of my beautiful subscribers will read this journal entry. I know a lot of people just find journals a pain. But I've had an idea for a while and I decided to post about it before I try it or not.
I've been thinking of the name of my photography "buisness" for lack of a better word. Something like a stage name, but for my photos. =P
I came up with one I'm really proud of. It's a combination of the name of the two riding schools I ride at and first started taking photos; PonyView - see, it works in two ways, it's the two names of my riding schools together AND you view ponies in my photos! =P

So I've decided I want to upload all my favourite photos from different horse events I've photographed and stuff. But there are a LOT of photos. I'm worried there's going to be too many and they'll be so many nobody will even see them anyway. :( But I want to upload all my favourite photos, there's just so many!
I've recently uploaded older photos of events I went to a while ago and photographed, and I'm going to work my way to the present.
I'll also add random photos of horses, my pets and many other things.
